resources

I use a number of platforms to support you in between our sessions. They range from places to buy herbs and supplements to apps that allow me to share nutrition advice, qi gong exercises, acupressure points and cognitive technique exercises to help change the way you perceive your condition.

I also sometimes use this space to link to articles or books that can be supportive to our healing processes.

Please know that purchasing your herbs and supplements through these places supports my practice in very tangible ways and helps to cover the time I spend prescribing your herbs. While it does involve shipping times, most offer free shipping with a $50 purchase and you are supporting your local acupuncturist!

If you or someone you know needs immediate support for a mental health crisis in the US dial 988.

Additionally these sites and hotlines are free and excellent:

US National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI): 1-800-950-6264 (NAMI) or text “helpline” to 62640

US National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255 (TALK)

Chinese Medicine First Aid Kit

Chinese Medicine First Aid Kit
$64.00

I’ve packaged up everything I take with me when I travel and I’ve put it in the perfect travel sized pouch. Products include remedies for jet lag, minor injuries or pain, colds & travel stomach troubles. There are herbs for about 3 days worth of each condition for 1-2 people: enough to get you through until you can get to a store, get home or get to a doctor (for me the kit has taken care of the injury entirely on more than one occasion). Add ons for altitude support, motion sickness and special stuff for kids are available by booking a quick phone or email consult.

If you travel a lot or tend to travel to places that are off the beaten path, this kit can be so helpful!

Current kits are a touch smaller than the measurements in the photo: 6”x4”x2” and weigh 6.7oz.

Please allow three business days for me to ship item. I ship via USPS unless you contact me to make other arrangements. Item is shipped without receipt, so can be shipped directly to recipient.

Therapeutic Patches for Acupuncture Points

If you need extra support while at home or during travel these patches can be placed over prescribed acupuncture points to help with pain, aid with sleep or calm anxiety. I can prescribe the patches during our next acupuncture appointment or you can set up a separate phone/video patching consult - after the call I’ll mail the patches to you and email you the patching prescriptions with detailed instructions.

Patches are $3 each.

A typical prescription uses 2-4 patches over 24-48 hours. By layering multiple prescriptions over the course of several days we can keep your qi in line until you can come in for an appointment.

Chinese medicine is not just acupuncture! The medicine offers a comprehensive approach to healing and well-being including an array of self-care practices. Patients who are open to integrating simple exercises, diet and mindfulness techniques into their daily lives often see faster and longer-lasting results. By using the Jing app I can prescribe specifically for your condition by selecting self-massage, acupressure points, qi gong exercises, diet and stretches that will help you continue your progress in between sessions.
